NVAC T&F League Cleckheaton-2 2008

NORTHERN VETERANS TRACK & FIELD LEAGUE RESULTS
HELD AT CLECKHEATON ON WEDNESDAY 16th JULY 2008

This was another fine night for a Northern Veterans Track & Field League meeting, although there was a stiff breeze down the back straight. However, there were good performances all round, and Carol Wolstenholme thrilled the gathered members with a new World Record in the 3000m. She smashed the previous world best held since 1999 by Gerda Van Kooten of 11:41.91 with 11:39.6.

Many thanks again go to Spenborough AC for the warm welcome and excellent facilities and refreshments.
The final Track & Field meeting is at East Cheshire in Ashton under Lyne on Wednesday 13th August.
