Membership of the Northern Veterans gives you access to a very sociable athletics community both locally and nationally. The Northern Veterans organise a series of friendly but competitive Monthly Runs each year, and a track & field league through the summer season. Guests are welcome at all runs and fixtures. The club stages annual championships on the road, track and cross country; these are open to members only. One of the main benefits as a member of the Northern Veterans is affiliation to the British Masters, entitling you to enter national and international masters competitions.
You will receive a quarterly newsletter from the Northern Veterans with further details of forthcoming fixtures, and results and reports from recent events, and a quarterly magazine "Masters Athletics" from the British Masters Athletic Federation. The BMAF also runs the 300 Plus Club, which awards a monthly draw with prizes of £125 and £10, for an annual subscription of £14.
Northern Veterans membership rates for 2012 are:
First Claim - £15 (includes levy to England Athletics)
Second Claim - £10 (for member of First Claim athletic club affiliated to England Athletics)
